Overview

This module explores student-led innovation approaches in 3D worlds for either virtual or real products. Some suggested project themes will be offered as a guide, but you are expected to research and develop a project that engages in innovation.

  • Integration of 2D and 3D design skills

3D scanning technologies

There are 2 such facilities on the Magee campus.

  1. D-Sculptor Pro (on 3D stand alone PC) Ideal for importing clay models for animation puropses. Free demo download from Computer Arts
  2. Dimensional Imaging (On site occasionally over 2006/07 - Hi resolution imaging of textured surfaces)
