I am a Senior lecturer in Product Design. I specialise in 3D design and have significant and ongoing industrial activity in product design, automotive design, toy design and medical applications. I am also developing expertise using virtual 3D design and have a PhD entitled "3D digital modelling of spinal posture".
My primary responsibilities in the University of Ulster include:
- Faculty of Arts Coordinator of Academic Enterprise
- Course Director for the BDes Hons Design and Communication (DIS/DAS)
Magee Campus is where students are provided with a rich interdisciplinary education in Design in terms of 2D, 3D and 4D. It is also the home of Major, Minor and double Main degree programmes which design is part.
