You will need to make the following measurements

  • 1x A3 rendering (traditional or digitally generated) of the form(mounted neatly on foamex board)

  • 1 scale A3 drawing (mounted on foamex) showing orthographic views use 3DSMAX splines and export to illustrator) or 3D computer model orthographic views in 3dsmax.

  • Sketchbooks neatly bound showing range of ideas.

Design Implementation Submission and Presentation

All work will be assessed by presentation and CD submission.

Assessment times are listed here. 

You will have 6 minutes for each presentation.

Work must be presented within a professional portfolio case. All sketch books should be neatly bound.

All projects must be completed for this module.

  • Form and speed drawing 5%- already assessed in class)
  • Mini Project (15%) - see task (already submitted) - 3D models of final expression form will be accepted for additonal marks. (incude one slide)
  • Ergonomics and anthropometrics (5%)- see task (include 1 slide)
  • Software tutorials (10%)- these should be on your blogs and original 3DSMAX files included on CD (these are not inlcuded in presentation)
  • Major project (65%)- see deliverables (project process and outcomes included in slide presentation)
  • Reflective Blog send me your link if you have not done so already
